Cinemahead was created by Daniel Alegi. A graduate of Brown University in International Relations and an MFA in Film from UW-Milwaukee, Daniel was a film apprentice for years before becoming an award-winning filmmaker, author, story consultant, and social entrepreneur.

The Cinemahead Community includes all those who contribute to this virtual organization with ideas and time. Project development, production support, online coordination and workshop logistics are just some of the areas in which help has been - and is - most appreciated. Volunteers, workshop network participants and funding groups have taken key action in contributing to the Cinemahead open-source mission. Toghether we try to make movies come to life. Affectionately, we refer to members of our community as Cinemaheads.
